Nia blends dance, healing, and martial arts.

Moving barefoot to music for 60 minutes, you follow along to moves that are:
– expressive and gentle
– energetic and dynamic
– soft and powerful
– long and short
– fluid and linear

You adjust the moves to your pleasure. No pressure!

Everyone is free to make sounds and vocalize to release tension and awaken emotions.

When I came across Nia, I fell in love with it! You see…

  • I spent my childhood performing dances in community events, in school, even in neighbours’ houses, together with my sisters. Dance is deeply ingrained in our culture in the Philippines where I’m from. I grew up with it. Dance is body poetry to me! It is my joy, my sanctuary.
  • I got into Karate and later became a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, playing with the University varsity team.
  • For personal development, I I got into Feldenkrais and became an NLP Master Practitioner and Advanced Coach.
  • I never stopped dancing… I brought it with me through all my travels to more than 50 countries!!!

Nia blends dance, healing and martial arts! I was amazed at this practice that combines the best of what I loved in energizing my mind, body and spirit. My Nia training also healed a recurring arm issue.

Now, I am keen to share the beauty of Nia, the bliss, the ecstasy, the poetry that comes alive through our senses!
